WHAT’S NEW WITH ABHT

Our website has been refreshed so if you haven’t had a chance to look at it recently, please do so and give us your feedback. www.AnywhereButHere.travel

Not a lot is different but it should work better on mobile devices and we cleaned up some of the content. Our Destinations pages now have more relevant information for each destination. Let us know if you want to see more! Our Travel Services pages have also been revamped so you can see pre-packaged trips/cruises that we offer as well as different sample itineraries. All of these can be customized to fit your own personal travel needs. Finally, we added more blog content that was previously hosted on travel agent’s websites who no longer work for us. 

We also traveled to Vegas last month to celebrate our CEO’s birthday. She lives there now as she is taking care of her mama so it was nice that 3/4 of our team could travel there and celebrate with her. Cara had already planned her summer vacation so she was not able to join us. It was definitely not your typical Vegas vacation as the strip was pretty quiet and many restrictions were in place. We spend most of our time playing card games, soaking in the pool and going out for a few special dinners to celebrate the birthday. You can see our photos from this trip above. 

The phones are starting to ring again so that is a good sign! We are continuing to work from home but we are excited to be planning new trips for our clients. 

Finally, our Virtual Vacations continue through August so see the list below of destinations we will be visiting. We also have a few destination presentations that we are hosting exclusively for our clients. These will focus on USA destinations as many clients have expressed an interest of travel domestically before going international again.

What is the difference between a sample itinerary and travel package? Sample itineraries generally have no pricing and are meant to give a general idea of what you can do and see at a particular destination. Often, they are itineraries we have planned for past clients. A travel package will often come with a starting price and it generally has a set date or range of dates to travel. The travel package itinerary is already pre-planned and sometimes you will travel with a small group of like-minded travelers. However, many of these packages can be customized for your own personal travel needs.

EVENT CALENDAR

We have been hosting free, fun & informative destination themed travel nights for the past year. Most of them are at our office in Lynnwood but we are also experimenting with other locations as well. We have some nibbles, wine and bubbly water while we share some information about specific destinations. However, now we have had to switch gears due to social gathering restrictions and are now offering Virtual Vacations instead! Most are co-hosted with other Travel Advisors and our trusted Travel Partners however, we have a few that we are planning exclusively for our clients. 

We would love for you to join us or share these events with someone who you think would be interested in attending. Please RSVP and bring a friend! All of these events can be found on the Event Calendar on our website too. It is required that you RSVP so we can share the presentation link with you. It is often a personal link that only one person can use.

We love our clients and we know it has been a tough time this year. No one could have predicted it would result in a complete and total shutdown of our industry and many other businesses as well. We have been able to get a business loan to get us through and we were able to reduce some expenses as well. We appreciate all the love and support our clients have sent to us over the past few months.

We know this isn’t the time to be planning trips. At least not for travel within the next few months for MOST destinations but we are ready to plan your trip for the end of this year and into 2021. We can also process your Consultation Fee now and plan your custom trip when you (or your destination) are ready. Or, you can put down a deposit on your Consultation Fee and we will hold your place in line. We anticipate many people calling us when things start to open up again.
