Overview
The typical Bali itinerary includes time in Ubud, and time at the beach. Which beach you choose depends on whether you prefer peace and quiet, or a faster pace. Our itinerary includes Seminyak, which we consider to be the best all round choice. Close enough to Kuta so you can drop in and check it out, far enough away to seem like another world. Time permitting an extension to the Gilis or Lombok is highly recommended.

Day tour of the historical and cultural highlights of Bali. Gunung Kawi Tegallalang, an 11th century temple carved into a cliff face; the Kerta Gosa Royal Court House; Besakih Temple. (B,L)
DAY 3: Seminyak Beach
Afternoon tour to the wild southern beaches. Enjoy a performance of the Ramayana-inspired Kecak dance with the majestic Uluwatu temple and sunset as its background, followed by a seafood dinner. (B,D)
DAY 4: Seminyak Beach
At leisure to enjoy the beach. (B)
DAY 5: Ubud
Drive to the mountains and Ubud. Afternoon lunch and Ubud highlights tour including Mas wood carving artisans village, Ubud Palace and an art market. (B, L)
